SMS Terms & Conditions

Orenda Education may periodically sends information by automated or pre-recorded messages, text messages, or real-time phone or email communications regarding district or campus news. During school registration or information updates, families may provide a phone number and check the box authorizing text-message notifications. Please complete our Opt-in process using this linked form. 

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.  Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Collection of Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information through text messages or phone calls. Any communication conducted through these channels will not require the sharing of personal details unless explicitly stated.

Use of Personal Information
We do not use personal information in any capacity within or outside the district. All communications are handled securely and without the need for personal data usage, ensuring your privacy is respected.

Sharing of Personal Information
We do not share personal information with anyone inside or outside of the district. Your information remains private and is not disclosed or distributed to any third parties.

SMS and Marketing
We do not share SMS messages or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Any SMS communications you receive from us will be strictly for the purpose of providing information relevant to district services, and your data will not be used for promotional activities.
